Hope the posh gin bandwagon isn't about to fizzle out. Scarcely a day goes by without news of a fundraising for a distiller. Yesterday it was Pinkster, established in 2013, which is looking to raise £600,000 via the Growthdeck crowdfunding platform. At least, Pinkster has some heavyweights behind it. Richard Bridgewood, its chairman, founded Contender Entertainment, the original producer of Peppa Pig, later sold to Entertainment One for £50 million. Growthdeck aossures would-be Pinkster investors that “realistic exit plans are in place“.
